Do you need a back up singer...lol
A
I'm good for now, but I do like mixing it up in the backing vocals department, especially if I can cross-promote with a guest artist.
Hey I was just listening to some of your music and wondered if you'd like to collaborate
A
I appreciate the offer! I'm pretty well occupied at the moment with finishing Adjustments Pt. 2, but feel free to shoot me an email at colortheory@colortheory.com.

Hi Josh! Feel free to shoot me an email at colortheory@colortheory.com. All I've got so far is Pt. 1.

Thanks! I don't know that I've ever been compared to Pink Floyd before. Yep, my music is on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/colortheory
Any Songs with Natives influences ?
A
No, but I've done songs with Native Instruments. Ha! A little music producer humor there.
Why Color theory? Are you interested in Art? Do you paint or do you just paint pictures with music?
A
You'd think right? ;) I wish I had a better answer for you, but the reality is, a friend of mine was in design school and taking a class called Color Theory 101, and I thought it sounded cool, probably because in my mind, "101" = "Depeche Mode".
A
Despite the name of my recording project, I'm a literal guy, and don't think in those terms when making music. I used to associate certain songs with certain colors when I was growing up, but getting my degree in music expanded my vocabulary to allow me to describe sound, musical or otherwise, more precisely.
A
Honestly, I don't think the degree helped at all. I already had enough theory background going in, and I don't perform, so the countless hours of rehearsal and performance haven't come in handy. That said, I had a fantastic piano teacher, and that's where I put in my 10,000 hours to really learn the instrument.
When are you touring next in the UK
A
I'm strictly a recording artist, but I appreciate the thought!
